The Yantra Mountain Retreat is located 10 miles south of Olympia, Washington
on top of a hill bordering Capitol Forest, a large forest reserve area.
The custom built structure takes advantage of the pure, undisturbed nature
surrounding it and the sweeping view that includes Mount Rainier to the east
and Mount St. Helens to the south.
These elements provide the perfect setting for experiencing the healing powers
of Transformational Breathing, listening to recordings of awakened masters,
melting into yoga and enjoying the purity of delicious raw food and fine teas.

  Karl Schaffner

Certified Transformational BreathTM Facilitator and Founder of Y.M.R.

For Karl, facilitating the Breath is the culmination of a life - long spiritual journey,

to which he has arrived through many spiritual endeavors as well as art, music

and architecture. Born and raised in Germany, Karl got his MA in architecture

from the University of Munich.  In 1974 his spiritual and artistic pursuits took

him  on extensive travels to Asia, the Middle East, and finally, in 1987, to the US.

Here he produced several music albums and countless paintings while also

working  as an architect. To explore his artwork, please visit www.artvayu.com.

In facilitating the Breath and creating retreats, Karl found a way of sharing

his experiences with others on the path to more spiritual awareness

for a life of greater joy, peace and balance.

“The Breathwork has done wonders for me and it is where my passion is.
What is exceptional and so empowering about it is that every person is doing it
themselves - I’m only guiding and coaching them. To be a part of their process
and to see the results is very rewarding.
I feel blessed and honored to be able to do this work.”  K.S.

Karl is offering individual, couples and group breathing sessions.
